Fabrizio Ancillai has studied and graduated in photography at the Academy of cinema and television Roberto Rossellini, Rome. In 2003 he started his film career by writing and directing the short film 'The Red Shoe', which received several award nominations including Italian Golden Globe 🙌
'Burning Red' is his most recent film competing at the LFA for 'Best International Short Film'. It talks about violence against women and its different facets, by telling the story of a couple's last night together, with two different perspectives. A game of cross and parallel flashbacks begins thanks to which we discover not only a double version of the facts but also of their personalities.
